Cajun Beef (using Desert Cajun Rub)

(serves 5)

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

“Excellent for a luncheon with a Rosé wine.”


  • 10 snow peas
  • 1 red capsicum, cut into thin strips
  • 1 cos lettuce, leaves picked
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Screaming Seeds ‘Desert Cajun Rub’
  • 3 thick fillet steaks, cut into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 3 tablespoons cream (optional)


  1. Prepare a salad using snow peas, capsicum and lettuce.  Set aside
  2. Gently sauté onion and Screaming Seeds ‘Desert Cajun Rub’ in oil in a frying pan
  3. In another pan, lightly fry steak in oil until just cooked
  4. Add cream (optional) to the onion mixture and add to the meat
  5. Combine meat mixture with salad and serve

....  For this recipe, if I don't have  'Desert Cajun Rub' in my pantry, what other SCREAMING SEEDS spice blend could I use instead?
