Creamy, golden and irresistibly crunchy on top, this Dukkah Potato Gratin takes comfort food to the next level. Layered with garlic, cream and plenty of buttery goodness, it’s finished with a generous sprinkle of our nut-free Dukkah blend for extra flavour and crunch. The perfect side for roasts, BBQs, or any meal that needs a little wow.
Ingredients
750g potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
200g grated Pecorino cheese
3 teaspoons Dukkah
3 teaspoons olive oil
3 spring onions
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
150ml white wine
150ml stock
150ml cream
Method
Place a layer of potato in a dish and sprinkle well with 150g of cheese and Dukkah. The will take approximately 3 layers.
In a pan, sauté garlic and spring onions and rest of Dukkah in olive oil for about 5 minutes.
Add wine and allow to reduce. Pour stock and cream, stirring while bringing to a bubbling boil.
Pour this creamy mixture over potatoes and top with rest of the cheese.
Place gratin in an oven for approximately 50 minutes at 180 C.
