Exotic Noodles

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves - crushed
  • 1 large Onion - chopped
  • 2-3 teaspoons Screaming Seeds  '7 Seas Spice'
  • 1 large Stock Cube
  • 1 thinly sliced Carrot
  • 6 Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Broccoli florets
  • 1 sliced Zucchini
  • 1/2  Red Capsicum - sliced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 teaspoons Mirin & Juice of 1 Lime
  • 3 teaspoons Soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Oyster sauce (optional)
  • 4 drops Sesame Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Honey

Method:

  1. Sauté onion & garlic in olive oil till soft
  2. Add '7 Seas Spice'‚ & stock cube & saute 3 mins.
  3. Add the sliced vegies & sauté for 10 minutes, stirring continuously
  4. Pour  in water, mirin, lime juice, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil & honey & quickly stir-fry for a further 5 minutes

Serving Suggestions:   Serve with steamed Rice, Couscous or Noodles of your choice such as Rice Vermicelli or Hokkien Noodles

....  For this recipe, if I don't have  '7 SEAS SPICE'  in my pantry, what other SCREAMING SEEDS spice blend could I use instead?
