Golden Squid (using Kashmiri Krush)

Ingredients:
  • 500g Squid rings
  • 50g rice flour
  • 50g arrowroot-or if using cornflour-just a pinch
  • 2 tablespoons Screaming Seeds  'Kashmiri  Krush'
  • 2 cups peanut oil
  • lemon or lime wedges
Method:
  1. Dry squid well on paper towels
  2. Mix rice flour, arrowroot or cornflour,  Kashmiri Krush in a bowl
  3. Heat oil in a wok till hot-this happens when a little flour sizzles in the oil
  4. Line a tray with paper towels, then dip each piece of squid into flour mix making sure all is coated & shake off excess flour
  5. Place squid in hot oil & cook for only 1 minute
  6. Remove squid & drain on paper towels

....  For this recipe, if I don't have  'Kashmiri Krush'  in my pantry, what other SCREAMING SEEDS spice blend could I use instead?
