Pasta Salad with Smokey Tomatina

  • 375g 'Bow' pasta - cooked & drained
  • 150g sundried tomatoes, sliced
  • 150g black olives, pitted
  • 1/2 cup shredded basil
  • 1 can artichoke hearts, quatered (optional)
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 dessertspoon Smokey Tomatina
  • 100g shaved parmesan
  • extra basil leaves to garnish


  1. Whilst pasta is still warm, toss in all the ingredients except extra basil & parmesan, toss till well combined
  2. When ready to serve garnish with basil leaves & shaved parmesan

Serve as a side dish or as a meal with crusty bread

....  For this recipe, if I don't have  'Smokey Tomatina'  in my pantry, what other SCREAMING SEEDS spice blend could I use instead?
