MOCK THAI STIR FRY


Ingredients:

300 g beef, lamb, chicken, fish or tofu, cut into thin strips
2 teaspoons Screaming Seeds ‘Caribbean Chilli’
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup beef or chicken stock
2 cups mixed vegetables, cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 tablespoons fish sauce

Method:

  • Sprinkle meat (or tofu) with Screaming Seeds ‘Caribbean Chilli’ and let stand for 15 minutes

  • Heat oil in a wok over medium/high heat.  Stir fry meat (or tofu) for 5 minutes.  Reduce heat, add stock and simmer for 20 minutes

  • Increase heat and add vegetables (harder vegetables like carrot first and softer ones like mushrooms last).  Stir fry until tender

  • Reduce heat and add sauces


Serving Suggestion:

Delicious served with basmati or jasmine rice.
