* Slice 500gms of fresh lamb steaks into large strips;
* Combine in a large ceramic or glass bowl:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil with - 3 tablespoons yoghurt, - 3 teaspoons Screaming Seeds 'DUKKAH', - 4 teaspoons Mirin (or dry/sweet sherry) & - 2 teaspoons fresh chopped coriander or other herbs, finely chopped, - Juice of 1 lime;
* Mix the marinade and combine with lamb steaks.
* Leave to marinade for 2 hours or if you have time, better overnight, turning occasionally;
* This is ready now to simply BBQ, pan-fry or grill to your liking!
* Serve with rice or couscous and a fresh garden salad.
Serving Suggestions - If you are not into Lamb, why not try this recipe Beef, Chicken or Fish and if you are Vegetarian - apply this same recipe with squares of Tofu ... & just omit the yoghurt!
I actually don't have 'DUKKAH' in my pantry, so what other SCREAMING SEEDS spice blend could I use that wsould work really well with this recipe?
Why not try using instead: Rainforest Season,7 Seas Spice, Kashmiri Krush, Southern Cajun, Marrakesh Magic, Bengal 5 Spice, Virgin Island Mix, Garam Masala, Outback Blend, Desert Cajun Rub or Caribbean Chilli ......
