CAJUN BEEF (serves 5)

Cooking Time: 15 minutes


“Excellent for a luncheon with a Rosé wine.”


Ingredients:

10 snow peas
1 red capsicum, cut into thin strips
1 cos lettuce, leaves picked
1 small onion, chopped
2 teaspoons Screaming Seeds ‘Desert Cajun Rub’
3 thick fillet steaks, cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons cream (optional)

Method:

  • Prepare a salad using snow peas, capsicum and lettuce.  Set aside

  • Gently sauté onion and Screaming Seeds ‘Desert Cajun Rub’ in oil in a frying pan

  • In another pan, lightly fry steak in oil until just cooked

  • Add cream (optional) to the onion mixture and add to the meat

  • Combine meat mixture with salad and serve
