Ingredients:
1 cup masoor dhal (red lentils) 1 tablespoon oil 1 tablespoon Screaming Seeds ‘Bengal Five Spice’ 1 tablespoon ginger, finely chopped 1 lemon, juiced salt to taste coriander leaves to garnish
Method:
Cook the lentils until completely soft, adding as much water as needed
Heat the oil and add the Screaming Seeds ‘Bengal Five Spice’
When the mustard seeds ‘splutter’ add the ginger
Season with salt and pour in the lentils. Simmer for a couple of minutes
When it has cooled slightly, add the lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves
Serve hot
